23 years of sektor 6 kommunikations [end a month of celebration]

On the last day of March, sektor 6 kommunikations returns to its celebration of 23 years of experimental industrial/cultural mayhem and information. We had interrupted our month-long celebration due to the numerous serious issues that required addressing, which made us feel we should focus on them versus our own direct artistic interests. Below is a long list of links to choose from and see our work throughout the years. Without further introduction...

[+] An interview with Abstinence bandmate John Bechdel [Ministry/Killing Joke] about the death of Killing Joke [and many others] bass player Paul Raven.

[+] This is a living document of the 9/11 infoArt installation of How Do You Know What You Know? The Orwell Doctrine was created for a free 9/11/01 window display [@ 266 W.37th St., NYC] commemorating the 6th anniversary of 9/11/01.

[+] Featured here is an interview with a person who worked in a New Jersey hospital. Her name and the location can not be revealed due to the fear of reprisal. We will release more information when the time is appropriate and the risk to her is minimized.

[+] How Do You know What You Know? Part 1 & 2 was an annual 9/11 exhibit, seen here in its third year, created by Darryl Hell. This was a public discussion we had on 44th St. in the theater district of New York City @ chashama Arts.

[+] This page is s6k's tribute to one of the most futuristic shows to be one television, Max Headroom. Though it only survived a few seasons, its forward thinking vision is where we now live...25 years later or 20 minutes into the future.

[+] We have built a page to help you discover ways to have a deeper connection to assisting the world you come in contact with. It's a simple guide to being more engaged. Now you never have to say, "I want to help. But what can I do?"

[+] s6k joined the 99% Movement as we had with every other movement that preceded it. As life-long activists, we have many strategies that we've developed over the years. Now our strategies of non-violent protest can help you be effective, train others, achieve your objective, and most importantly, stay out of jail.

[+] Lastly, but certainly not least, s6k's Impact Arena RAID-io is our latest artistic vision that began broadcasting on a NYC based Internet radio station [WFKU.org] in January 2012. By issue #3 we began distributing the shows as a podcasted 2/3 music & 1/3 conversation show that now is downloaded by 28 countries...and counting! You can listen to all the back issues of IA RAID-io anytime you want or you can download them all on our webpage.

Thank you all for your support and we look forward to the next 23 years!
