New Haujobb Single 17 June 2011

Am 17. Juni 2011 erscheint die neue Haujobb Single/EP "DEAD MARKET"


Neben den Künstlern the Horroist, Absolute Body Control und Nomenklatür ist es mir eine Freude auch einen Remix mit unserem Nebenprojekt "Exes" zu präsentieren.
Seit dabei am 12. Juni 2011 ab 18.00 Uhr im Darkflower Leipzig zur Offiziellen Record Release von DEAD MARKET im Rahmen des 20. WGT 2011. An dem Abend könnt ihr auch, das dazugehörige Video sehen sowie in das kommende Album "New World March" reinhören. Die Band selbst wird natürlich auch anwesend sein.

Record Store Day at Marleen Records, Fulda, April 16

Record Store Day is being celebrated in Fulda this year at Marleen Records on April 16th, with support by Sonic Warriors United.

This event is happening world wide, bring attention to support local Independent Record Stores. Calling on everyone to walk in, browse and shop.

There will be special releases only for this day from selected recording artists, so if your not in the stores on this day you have missed your chance to say:

"I bought this on Record Store Day"

Marleen's will be hosting local and International Dj's for this event, with some added specials all day. For this in store event the Dj's behind the wheels of steel this year will be:

Chickenbone, Denard Henry, Jana Clemen, Pino Perplex and Dean Freud.

You can expect a well rounded "sonic experience" as your back drop while your shopping for those special records, picture disks, box sets, collectors items and Cd's for your collection or as a gift for that special person in your life.

CMT Bitcrusher

Dieser VST Effekt von CMT ist ein kleines aber feines Plugin, der seinen Aufgaben gerecht wird. Viele Einstellmöglichkeiten gibt es zwar nicht aber diese beherrscht er mit Bravour.

Drive

Der Vorverstärker regelt die Lautstärke des Signals. Hier hat man die Möglichkeit zwischen 0-24 DB auf eine Stelle nach dem Komma zu wählen, dies kann bei schwachem Eingangssignal von Vorteil sein.

Bit-Depth

Die Bittiefe lässt sich von 1-24Bit frei wählen. Man spricht hier von Bit-Reduktion.
Importiert man das Plugin in seinen Sequenzer liegt eine voreingestellte Bittiefe von 24 Bit an.

Downsampling

Dieser Regler steuert die Abtastrate des Ausgangssignals. Die volle Abtastrate ist beim Import in den Sequenzer Standard Die Wahlmöglichkeit liegt zwischen 1-40x. Durch das Regeln des Downsampling ändert sich die Klangfarbe des Ausgangssignals.

Fazit

Der Bitcrusher ist zwar nicht das Neuste vom Neuen aber er hat immer noch seinen Reiz.
In meinen Produktionen findet er immer wieder Verwendung. Unter Ableton Live arbeitet der Zwerg einwandfrei. Gerade die wenigen Einstellmöglichkeiten machen diesen Effekt so Interessant. Wem die Möglichkeiten an Klangverzerrung nicht ausreicht dem Empfehle ich den Camel Crusher (www.camelaudio.com).
